Yes. We're welcoming new patients of all ages, from newborns to teens. Sign up online or call us at (770) 585-0190.

Fill out our online sign-up form, which lets you register several children at once, and we'll call you to schedule. You can also call us at (770) 585-0190.

Yes. We offer a free prenatal meet & greet so you can meet Dr. Akbar, ask questions, and have a pediatrician chosen before delivery. Call us or sign up online to schedule one.

Your baby's first visit is usually within 2 days of going home, for a weight and jaundice check and feeding support.

Sign up with us, fill out the medical release form and then ask your previous doctor's office to send your child's records and vaccine history.

Thursday: 10:00 am–7:00 pm
Friday: 8:30 am–12:00 pm

Yes. We're open Thursday evenings until 7 pm and Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon.

Yes, we keep dedicated slots open daily for same-day sick visits.

Walk-Ins will be seen in the first available sick visit appointment time slot. We recommend patients to make an appointment, including same-day sick appointments. Please call ahead so we can have a time ready for you.

Yes. Use our patient portal to view visit summaries, patient records and pay your bill.

Yes. We have a physician on call 24/7. When our office is closed overnight and you have an urgent issue that cannot wait until the morning, you can call our regular office number and your call will be forwarded to the on call provider.
We do ask that you allow us some time to return your call, as we do not return calls while driving or during regular office hours.

Yes. We evaluate and manage ADHD, including medication management when appropriate, and help with behavior challenges at home and school.

Yes. Teens can talk with Dr. Akbar privately about sensitive topics like mental health, and we follow confidentiality guidelines for adolescent care.

We offer non-judgmental conversations so you can ask questions and make informed decisions for your child. We follow the AAP recommended vaccine schedule.

Yes, including Georgia school forms 3231 (immunizations) and 3300 (eye, ear, and dental). Same-week appointments are often available.
