Our Philosophy

Our Approach: Preventive Care That Sees the Whole Child

Dr. Rabia Akbar designed well visits at YouBelong Pediatrics to go beyond the checklist. Every appointment is an opportunity to understand how your child is doing physically, developmentally, emotionally, and socially — and to give parents the guidance they need to make confident decisions at home.

  • Continuity of care — Dr. Akbar knows your child's history across every visit, year after year
  • Developmental concerns identified early and addressed proactively, not reactively
  • Coordination with schools, therapists, and specialists when screenings reveal needs
  • Parent education tailored to your child's current stage — not generic handouts

  • Fine and gross motor milestone assessment at every infant and toddler visit
